A Celebration of Craft & Context — Oakmont’s Lanseria Project

This kitchen forms part of a newly completed build in Lanseria, where wide-open countryside meets a quietly assured approach to interior architecture.

Oakmont’s scope encompassed the full manufacture and installation of bespoke cabinetry, created in close collaboration with the client to deliver a balance of contemporary aesthetics and everyday functionality.

The generous vertical volume of the space invites a layout that feels effortless and breathable. Anchored by crisp black fenestration and high-pitched ceilings, the cabinetry is realised in Sahara Textured by Sonae Nova Board — a soft, timber-inspired surface that catches natural light with subtle warmth while offering impressive durability.

At the heart of the room, a matte black island with slatted detailing and a quartz surface acts as both sculptural centrepiece and working hub. Above it, a custom-fabricated cooker hood and suspended gantry shelving in powder-coated steel and glass underscore Oakmont’s talent for integrated detailing and precise in-house fabrication.

The result is a kitchen defined by flow, light, and tactile materiality — a serene meeting point where nature and architecture converse with ease.
